Cody Abernathy placed 3rd in the United Welding Institute at Pottsville's welding contest. He was awarded a $2000 scholarship to UWI.

Two Rivers High School 5th-12th building is proud of our Student of the Month Program. Good citizenship displayed by students is important and appreciated by the faculty and administration at Two Rivers High School. Students who exhibit the characteristics of good citizenship such as working well with others with a cooperative attitude, exhibiting good behavior, displaying leadership qualities and serving as role models for their peers will be considered as a Student of the Month.
One student from each grade 5th-12th will be honored each month as a Student of the Month. Students selected will be taken to lunch by their principal on a selected day. These students will also receive a certificate and have their pictures in the local newspaper for being chosen as Student of the Month.
We have added one additional academic award. The Plainview Superette is sponsoring an academic student of the month. One student will be selected from 5th-8th grades and one student from 9th-12th grades. These students will receive a coupon for a milk shake and a pizza at the Plainview Superette and also get to go eat lunch with the principals. The winners for February are Jaquline Thomas 12th grade and Katie Dunman 5th grade.

The Two Rivers Annual Queen Pageant will be held April 29 at 7:00 pm in the auditorium.

This pageant is open to young ladies in grades 5-12.
There will be three divisions:
grades 5-6,
grades 7-9,
grades 10-12

The attire is dressy/church dresses for 5-6, short formal for 7-9, and long formal for 10-12.

The entry fee is $15.

The winners of the pageant will receive a crown and will be featured in the 2016-2017 yearbook.

Admission will be $5 for adults and $3 for students.

TRHS Prom will be held at Chamberlyne Country Club on April 8th this year. Photos will be taken beginning at 6:30 pm.

After Prom will be held at the Ola Gym following the prom and will end at 2:00am.

Students must attend prom to attend after prom.

Anabel Galvan, Bethany Swanson, and Kinsey Noakes competed in Illustrated Talk for FCCLA STAR Events. They won gold, scoring 98% and are advancing to Nationals. Nationals will be held in Nashville, TN this July 2-6th.

Congratulations to Hannah Burfield for placing 4th at the Team Championships held in Tennessee this past Sunday the 11th. We are so proud of you, your accomplishments and how well you represented Two Rivers!!!!IMG 4025

Campbell's Labels for Education is discontinuing the program summer of 2017. However I will be sending some labels in at Christmas Break so you can send some labels now and I'll send the last bunch in in at the end of May.

Remember I am still saving Best Choice Labels, cell phones, tablets, sunny d labels, and drink pouches (capri suns, Kool-Aid, etc...)

I am also getting ready to send in a big box of drink pouches if you have any at home please send those and I'll send those with the December shipment.

The Two Rivers School District EAST Department will be opening The Swamp Swap on Saturday, December 17, 2016 from 8:00 am - 11:00 am. The East Department has been responsible for setting up this permanent clothing closet. The new clothing closet is located on the Ola Campus in the Ola Gymnasium. Please park on the side of the Gym and enter through the side door. If you need handicapped assistance/access, you are welcome to enter through the front of the Ola Gym. The Swamp Swap welcomes clothing donations during this time. All available clothing and shoes are free. Please come and support our clothing closet.

Congratulations to Hannah Burfield for placing first place at the sectional event that was held in Paris on Nov. 12 and has been notified that she has been selected to compete in the Team Championship in Tennessee on December 11. She will compete during the pregame or halftime of the Titan's game. Team champions will be crowned in each age group. The top four scorers will be determined in the boys’ and girls’ divisions from all first place finishers in each Team Championship's age group. These team champions advance to the National Finals at week 16 or 17 of the regular season in January. A total of 40 participants will attend the National Finals. Way to Go Hannah, Two Rivers is so proud of you and your achievements!
